FONTE VERDE AZIENDE AGRICOLE ASSOCIATE operates in an area of the transformed belt between the provinces of Ragusa and Syracuse strongly suited to the cultivation of fruit and vegetables.

It mainly deals with the cultivation of vegetables both in open fields and in a protected environment, and to a lesser extent in arable land, citrus fruits, vines, fruit trees, etc., on an area of over 550 hectares. The company markets its products through the OP “Consorzio Fonteverde” of which it is a member.

Del Sole Società Agricola Semplice

DEL SOLE SOCIETA’ AGRICOLA SEMPLICE operates in an area of the transformed strip between the
provinces of Ragusa and Syracuse strongly suited to the cultivation of fruit and vegetables.

It mainly deals with the cultivation of vegetables both in open fields and in a protected environment
on an area of about 70 hectares.

COLLE D’ORO BIO SOCIETA’ SEMPLICE AGRICOLA operates in an area of the transformed belt between the provinces of Ragusa and Syracuse strongly suited to the cultivation of fruit and vegetables.

It mainly deals with the cultivation of vegetables both in open fields and in a protected environment, and to a lesser extent in arable land, citrus fruits, vines, fruit trees, etc., according to the methods of organic farming on an area of about 660 hectares. The same commercializes its productions through the OP “Colle d'oro” of which it is a partner, also a partner in the project.

Colle d’Oro Società Consortile Agricola

The Colle d'Oro Consortium OP brings together various farms operating in the territory of the provinces of Ragusa and Syracuse, areas of the island strongly suited to the cultivation of vegetables.

The Consortium proposes, in the exclusive interest of the consortium members, to organize the associated producers, to plan their production, to enhance their products, for quantity and quality, to market the fruit and vegetables of the members ensuring maximum profitability.

The Consortium manages about 1000 Ha, of which about 1/3 invested in greenhouses / tunnels and the rest in the open field; part of the crops are carried out according to the criteria of organic production (40%), while the remaining part (60%) has been conducted for some time according to the dictates of integrated production. The organization, making use of expert and professional technicians, is able to develop production programs dictated by market orientations or by particular requests of demanding customers.

The factory at the service of the producers' organization for the processing and packaging of products, built in 1980, covers approximately 7,000 square meters, consisting of two distinct processing warehouses, one for the conventional product, the other for the organic. and a logistics center for shipping.

THE F.LLI GAMBUZZA SS operates in the area of the transformed belt between the provinces of Ragusa and Syracuse, strongly suited to the cultivation of fruit and vegetables.

It mainly deals with the cultivation of vegetables both in open fields and in a protected environment, on an area of about 29 hectares.

Azienda Agricola Maltese Giovanni

The Maltese Giovanni farm has a horticultural-zootechnical-fodder address and deals with the production of vegetables both in the open field and in a protected environment, arable crops, carobs, olives and almonds, on an area of about 91 hectares, in association with breeding of animals.
